Gothic Villa
Gothic Villa is a lovingly restored detached 19th century self-catering villa with a big welcome, in the heart of the estuary village of Ferryside, one of West Wales best kept secrets, and where life has a different pace.
As soon as you enter Gothic Villa, you know you've arrived somewhere very special. Open the door, into the interconnecting sitting rooms with wood burning stove and relax in the leather armchair and squashy sofas and absorb yourself in some of the books of local and Welsh interest.
Serious cooks will delight at the well equipped kitchen and the large Smeg oven, (just the right size for the Christmas Turkey!)
The two double bedrooms have wonderful views across the estuary, so you can lay in bed enjoying the view. The courtyard can be viewed from the gothic window of the twin bedded room, whilst in the fourth bedroom offers a 4ft wide antique cupboard bed providing a cosy place to climb into at night. Sleeps 7 plus cot.
The family bathroom has a roll top slipper bath, wonderful glass tiled thermostatic shower cubicle, painted wood floors, with gothic arched window decorated in calm off white overlooking the high bank where ferns and red and pink valerian grows.
