The Kingston Estate
As one of the finest surviving examples of early eighteenth century architecture in Britain today, Kingston House and its grounds are packed with history. The House and cottages are rated Five Stars.
Kingston provides outstanding accommodation in three period suites on the first floor of the house, (referred to in 18th century architecture as the piano nobile). The bedrooms have all been lovingly restored to reflect the style and luxury of the age in which the house was built.
The Kingston Estate is a pet friendly establishment (several dogs welcome) and this includes a free doggie pack on arrival. The estate is perfect for dogs, with fenced gardens, paddocks and a wood for short walks.
Surrounding the cobbled North Courtyard lie the estate cottages which have been created from the restored period outbuildings at Kingston. The cottages range in size, providing accommodation for between two and six persons. Each cottage consists of a modern, (fully equipped), kitchen, sitting room, beautiful bedrooms and high quality bathrooms in keeping with the property.
