Penrose is an elegant Victorian House built in 1880 which retains a wealth of original features, including fireplaces in most of the large rooms, cornicing, ceiling roses, chandeliers, high ceilings and stained glass windows. Even though Penrose is elegant and grand, when you walk in you will experience a homely atmosphere. There is off road parking at the back of the house just off Scrations Lane.

All our bedrooms contain TV, DVD player, extensive tea & coffee making facilities with biscuits, bottled mineral water, toiletries and hairdryer.

The bedrooms have ensuite bathroom facilities bar one room. Altogether, Penrose has to offer four family bedrooms, two double bedrooms and a small, cosy twin room with separate, private bathroom (bathrobes are provided). The family rooms can also be used as double or twin rooms. All the ensuites and bathroom have electric showers, plus fresh towels, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel.
