Woodpecker Lodge

Woodpecker Lodge is located five miles south-west of the market town of Dumfries, in the beautiful and varied countryside of Dumfries and Galloway.

The high-quality, fully-equipped detached lodge has two bedrooms and sleeps up to four people. It is very comfortable at any time of the year, and has an open view of the surrounding fields, hills and Mabie Forest, which is only a ten-minute walk from the lodge, along a track.

The site itself used to be part of the grounds of nearby Cairnyard House, and its location is ideal for visiting the many attractions in Dumfries and Galloway.

The lodge consists of an open-plan L-shaped kitchen, dining and living room, a bathroom (with a shower over the bath), and one double room and one twin room.

The well-equipped, modern kitchen has standard crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment, an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher, steamer, electric kettle and toaster.

The living room has a 32" LCD TV - which receives the main Freeview digital TV and radio channels - a DVD player, and a Hi-Fi.

Dogs stay for free.
