Simonstone Hall is situated on the spectacular Buttertubs Pass near Hawes in Wensleydale beneath the wild scenery of Stags Fell overlooking Wensleydale.

Renowned for its fine cuisine and hospitality, Simonstone Hall was built in 1733 as a Hunting Lodge for the Earl of Wharncliffe, subsequent Earls played host to colourful characters such as Lily Langtry, who became a regular visitor to Simonstone.

The Hotel is the perfect setting for Civil Weddings and Receptions, Shooting or Fishing parties - indeed for any special occasion whether family or business orientated.

Our award winning team, led by brothers Robert and Richard Mountain, produce innovative food for both the a-la-carte restaurant, with panoramic views over Wensleydale, and the Game Tavern, our traditional bar.

The Hunt Room is available for private or business functions, where parties of up to 22 people can be accommodated around the large oak dining table, or the Stags Fell Suite can accommodate functions of up to 70 people.
