The Swan House is a 17th century Merchant Town House in the centre of the village lying on the banks of the River Severn and at the gateway to the Royal Forest of Dean.

Our six guest bedrooms are all en suite, glowing with colour and individually decorated. Each room has been equipped with thought and care to include colour television, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, together with books and magazines.

The south facing garden is a good place to relax in summer time, either to recover from your last foray or to plan the next one.

The dining room - a Georgian addition to the house - is open for breakfast between 7:30am - 9:00am Monday to Friday and 8:00am - 10:30am at the weekends.

Enjoy an evening meal by candlelight in our licensed Restaurant. We have tried to create an informal atmosphere where good food and wine is a must. All our meals are prepared from local, often organic produce and home cooked. Picnics or packed lunches are available on request.
