Whincliff

You are here : United Kingdom / Norfolk / Mundesley

Whincliff is situated upon the picturesque 'whin-heather covered cliffs (from which Whincliff takes its name), overlooking the sea, towards the quieter end of Mundesley village.

The cliff path is just a short walk away, which leads down to one of Norfolk's beautiful, quiet and unspoiled beaches.

Mundesley itself, is perfectly situated on the Norfolk coast, an equal distance from the lively entertainment centre of Great Yarmouth to the south and the quiet conservation areas such as Cley and Wells-next-the-sea to the north.

The Norfolk Broads are also only a short drive from Mundesley. These inland waterways are home to a wealth of wildlife, and plenty of beautiful walks are to be found in the area. Alternatively, an even better way to explore The Broads is to hire one of the local day boats.

The historic City of Norwich is half an hours drive away. Here can be found a mixture of old and new, with the Norman Castle, Cathedral and Market alongside of the finest modern shopping malls in East Anglia.

Our neighbours, The Ingleside Hotel, offer a fine selection of food and real ales, often including local brews.

I welcome pets here, and make no extra charge for them.

The large en suite room can also be booked at a 'Family rate', based on two adults sharing with a maximum of two children, subject to availability.

I provide a colour television in each of my rooms for my guests to use, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Off road parking is available in the driveway outside the house.

I aim to offer a home from home by the sea, and pride myself in providing an enjoyable stay to all my guests.
