Lynhurst is an elegant late Victorian country house with great character arranged on four floors. Built as a summer retreat in 1890 for a wealthy London bankers family the house is totally hidden in almost 3 acres of gardens & natural woodland yet just a whisper away from Lynton & Lynmouth.

It is a perfect retreat for those seeking peace & solitude, although secluded, it is only a short stroll to all the area's attractions- such as the famous 'Cliff Railway' which takes you to the picturesque harbour of Lynmouth, the Valley of the Rocks' & the beautiful waterfalls of Watersmeet.

The accommodation is presented to a high standard retaining many original features including a tiled entrance hall that leads to an impressive grand staircase which takes you to TEN well appointed, spacious bedrooms.

Off the entrance hall are two comfortable lounges: one with woodburner, piano & Colour TV & the second with open coal fire, Colour TV, Video, Skybox with basic package & French windows leading out onto a balcony overlooking the garden. The ground floor hosts a dining room that adjoins the spacious farmhouse style kitchen, well equipped with double oven, hob, microwave, large fridge & freezer & dishwasher.
