Edwardian elegance, modern facilities, luxurious surroundings, personal service, glorious food and fantastic scenery - who could ask more from a guesthouse.
The Old Cider House, situated in the heart of the pretty and historic village of Nether Stowey at the foot of the wonderful and largely unexplored Quantock Hills.
We are a pet friendly establishment. We welcome well behaved dogs by arrangement as long as they get on with our resident labrador, Ozy.
There's a bit of history around here from our very own Jurassic seashore to Iron Age forts and Coleridge's Cottage. Nether Stowey boasts a village trail with houses dating back to Medieval times and the Castle Mound which has dominated the village since the Normans built it. Coleridge, Wordsworth and Sir Humphrey Davey all lived here and left their mark.
